June Events:

 

June 1 “Rudy Goff” Mixed Scotch Championship – 18 holes of Pinehurst Scotch format. Gross & Net prizes will be offered with the low net team being honored as tournament champions. 1:30 modified shotgun start; play in the morning will be limited to tee times up to 11:00 am. Afternoon play will be allowed after 2:00. Entry fee: $25.00/team   Sign-ups begin             May 1st in the Golf Shop.

June 5-8          Williams Alumni Reunions – gathering alumni have pre-registered tee times through a process devised by the Alumni Office. Limited membership play is still available during this stretch through the normal 7 day policy process, although Friday (6th) and Saturday (7th) are usually heavily booked in advance.

June 8             New Member Orientation – A new program offered by the membership committee to assist in the transition of any new member into the golf club. Plans are to conduct an informative agenda; followed by a 9 hole event and social at the clubhouse. Watch for details from the membership committee and feel free to contact Chris Casey (chair) for additional information.

June 14           Father/Son & Adult/Junior Tournament – “selected drive/alternate shot” format for this event that is played in categories according to the make-up of teams that enter. There is no entry fee and tee times are assigned for the afternoon. Sign-up poster will be in the Golf Shop on May 17th. (Low father/son team qualifies for state championship)

June 15           Allied Father/Son @ CC of Pittsfield – entry forms in the Golf Shop & must be completed by June 1st.

June 21-22      Baxter Member/Member – 36 holes better ball of twosomes. Gross & Net prizes in women and men’s divisions. Pick your own partner: Women must have combined handicap minimum of 30; men must have a combined minimum of 15 as of the last handicap update prior to the tournament. Entry fee: $30.00/team.  Note: you may secure your tee time & pairing when you sign-up – sign-ups begin on May 18th. Deadline for entry is Friday – June 14th (assuming any tee times are still available).

June 27-29      Men’s 3-day Member/Guest – 96 selected teams from May 16th lottery will engage in three days of match play competition within divisions. Course is CLOSED to all non-participants for the entire three days. Entry fee: $355.00/team

June 30           Allied Senior @ Berkshire Hills CC & Allied Junior @ Stockbridge GC – entry forms in Golf Shop must be completed by June 15th.
