COURSE CONDITIONS FOR TODAY:

Golf Course is Open

Carts are available

September 4, 2008. Golf Course Architect Gil Hanse returned to the property the last two days and finished shaping the remaining fairway bunkers on holes #1 and #15 as well as shaping out the bunkers on hole #11. The crew from NMP Golf Construction will continue to finish off the bunkers on holes #1 and #18 today, more sod will be delivered Friday morning, so by the weekend we should be close to having 3 holes of bunkers completed. Work is continuing on the #15 tee complexes as well as #16 back and middle/back tees, #17 back tee, #2 back tee, and #18 forward tee. In addition to this work they have also started to install new cart paths and remove the existing ones on holes #18, 1, 16 and 15. The majority of the work on these holes will be completed before they move on to other holes. Carpenter Hill Construction from Williamstown MA was hired to dredge out the irrigation pond on hole #18. Using a long reach excavator and some SCUBA diving equipment they were able to remove the silt around the intake line for the irrigation system.

September 1, 2008. Work for today will consist of finishing off the bunkers on #1 green getting them ready for sod and sand later this week. Drainage lines are being installed on #11 to pick up drainage from the fairway bunkers. Work continues on the #15 tee complex. The irrigation main line is being re-routed on #1 fairway to make way for the installation of a fairway bunker. All greens and tees are open today with the exception of #15 tee. Check with pro shop for details.

A reminder!  All restaurant sales include an eighteen percent gratuity for the wait staff. If you wish to alter this amount, cross out the printed gratuity and write the desired amount on the gratuity line.

The approved 2008 calendar of events is now posted for your viewing. You will notice most of the tournaments have been scheduled prior to the start of the "master plan" to avoid maintenance conditions.
